Closet Cleaning

I love cleaning out closets.  It is such a good feeling to open a door and know that there is nothing lurking within that really shouldn't be there... or anywhere else in one's home.  I've been going through our closets & cabinets this evening and it is amazing what piles up in just over 3 years!  And to think we've already participated in 3 garage sales during that time!  Well, there's nothing like moving cross country to an apartment with less storage to make one purge even more stuff. Random things like kitchen magnets I never really liked, shoe polish that hasn't been opened for 3 years, boocoodles of random pens & pencils, a bag of garden dirt, stacks of magazines, re-used gift bags and a big tub of new cat litter.  All these things and more will be in garage sale #4 this Saturday.

But before I tackle another spot in the apartment, Matt and I are going out for a special dinner at  1424.  Woo hoo!  This is our absolute favorite restaurant in  Waco.  He took me there on our first date in Texas back in 2004 and we've since gone back for various occasions (our anniversary, Mom's birthday, Peg & Greg's first visit, a friend's graduation.) The atmosphere is casual and the food is fantastic and we want to take up on one last opportunity to enjoy it all.
