Eastern Shore

Thanks to friends of friends we recently had the opportunity to take an overnight poke around the Eastern Shore and Ocean City. First stop, the boardwalk. It was like a year-round carnival with rides, sites, and disgustingly delicious eats. Our group snacked on Dolle's saltwater taffy, Thrasher's fries and deep fried Oreos. Nearby was Assateague Island, known for their wild ponies... three of which we saw in the park right by the side of the road. The weather was rainy & overcast most of the time, but it was still an excellent weekend get-away and fun to experience Maryland's popular beach area.

FRIED OREOS???????? I'm trying to taste that culinary delight in my brain!!! Think if anything was going to "stick" to my arteries I would have STUCK to the taffy. Looks like a fun time, except for all that water surrounding you.
